One dream finally come true

A dream I've had for many years - my very own web server in my very own
domain. It is mine. The page you are viewing demonstrates a plethora of things,
mainly technical and of no or little interest for a common user. However for me
the technicality plays a big role. Every bit of information transferred from here
to there (=you). Goes through a (user-wise) complex layer of architectures.
Crucial part of information exchange is the Apache
web server, wich takes care of important part of the process. This server
machine is located in my apartment at the student dormitory of Helsinki
University of Technology in Espoo. There it lies, in the corner, humbly. It
actually holds plenty of sites. This is enabled by using
Apache's excellent virtual host support.
I believe in content before form, therefore this text is without fancy css
formatting. Don't like it? Feel free not to look, there are other options
everywhere on the net.
